Above image: "This was taken in about July 1945 while I (Stan) was cruising the streets of London on the prowl for a nice pick-up. I was in Piccadilly Circus when I was suddenly surprised by a candid camera man who took my picture and then sold it to me. My mouth is open in surprise."Stan served with the Perth Regiment of Canada, 11th Infantry Brigade of the 5th Canadian Armoured Division and saw action in Italy during the Montecassino campaign among others.
